BIOGRAPHY

Yannick van den Ende (2000) is a multidisciplinary filmmaker and wizard whose creative practice moves fluidly between writing, animation, filmmaking, and editing. This year, he graduates from the Creative Writing program (2026), building on earlier studies in animation and film (HKU 2022, ArtEZ Zwolle 2023, FAMU Prague 2025).

Through his artistic practice, he explores the hidden world of magic and the apparent impossibility of grief, using experimental techniques to make the inner worlds of his characters visible. Driven by mysticism, intersectional theory, and history, he is committed to preserving—and creating—magical and ritual spaces.
